After leaving university, I joined West Yorkshire Police and my roles mainly centered around helping witnesses and victims. When I started thinking about a change of career, I knew I wanted to continue giving people advice and trying to make their experience of working with me as smooth and stress free as possible.
I was offered a role as a trainee mortgage adviser in 2012. I was able to transfer all the skills I had built up in my previous roles and apply them to my new role. I worked my way up in the company and was quickly a qualified Mortgage Adviser and in charge of a team of other advisers.
I now have over 12 years experience as an Independent Mortgage Adviser and as a Director of Quercus, it was important for me to find a team of likeminded people who have the same mindset as I do and who aren’t afraid of a challenge!
I live in Harrogate, North Yorkshire with my fiancé and 2 crazy cats. I particularly enjoy swimming, going on long walks and trying to get away for weekend breaks!
